The New Moon Paintings have and are some of my most challenging, creative and fulfilling paintings I have experienced.  The first painting was done in 2010, started and finished on new moons or I should articulate more often four days after the new moons. The paintings often take a period of sixty days or more for the layers and evolution of changes to occur.  They are started without thought, simply applying paint, adding collage materials, lettering and whatever else until the painting takes it's own course to completion.  Like walking into a forest without a thought of return.
